The Institute offers simulation-based training in logistics and operations management, delivered under the name Logistics Simulation Lab. Participants work with physical cards, sheets and process boards while a browser application calculates their decisions, costs and performance indicators.
Each programme is built around the processes of the organisation that commissions it, so that participants rehearse their own planning problems rather than a generic case study.
How it works
- We map your process
An initial consultation and, where useful, a site visit establish the process, its constraints and the decisions the team actually makes. - We configure the game
Your product mix, network, lead times, costs and service levels are reflected in the rules and parameters of the game. - We run the training
Teams play several rounds. Each round is followed by a structured debrief linking the results back to the organisation’s real operations.
Three levels of tailoring
- Ready-made game
A title from our library, selected for your sector. The fastest option to schedule. - Tailored to your operations
An existing game engine run with your own parameters and anonymised data. - Bespoke game
A dedicated game designed for a process that no existing title covers.
Who it is for
Manufacturing, food processing, transport and warehousing companies; hospitals, municipalities and other public services; vocational training centres, universities and partner institutions abroad. Training is delivered in Polish or English.
Recent delivery
Between May and June 2026 the Institute delivered two 34-hour courses in production planning and logistics for sector skills centres (Branżowe Centra Umiejętności) in the dairy and meat processing industries, funded under Poland’s National Recovery Plan. Thirty adult participants took part and all passed the practical examination. Two participant handbooks, of 70 and 100 pages, were written for the same programmes.
